What is Make?
With Make, you can connect hundreds of apps to automate processes and exchange data—without any code.
In an intuitively designed editor, you can connect the systems you work with every day using so-called modules. The principle is simple: If this happens, then that should happen.
Use cases for the MAKE integration in LearningSuite:
Automatically create new Members from a list such as Google Sheets, saving you the step of manually creating Users in LearningSuite
Connect other tools such as Copecart via Make and sell your LearningSuite Courses in your own online store
Connect forms from your website and automatically give Users who complete the form access to info products in LearningSuite
How can I connect Make to LearningSuite?
Step 1: Go to your LearningSuite instance and open the Settings --> Integrations tab. The Make Integration is listed second:
Simply click the button on the right: “Generate API key”. This creates a key specifically for your LearningSuite instance, which Make can then use to connect.
Step 2: Copy the API key and open Make using the following link: https://make.com/. If you do not have an account yet, please create one now.
Step 3: Go to your Make Dashboard. You should see the following:
What terms do I need to know?
Make.com uses some terminology that comes up repeatedly and can be confusing at first. But don't worry, there is nothing complicated behind it.
Scenario: As mentioned above, this is the term for an entire process mapped in Make.com.
Trigger: the event that triggers this predefined process.
Modules: A step, an app, device, or service in the process (scenario) that sends and receives data and information.
Router: A router splits the process into different paths. With an upstream filter, the process then follows different paths depending on the requirements.
Iterator: An iterator module breaks a group of elements into smaller parts. For example, this module splits a table with many columns into individual columns, which can then be used for further processing.
