What is Zapier?

Zapier is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to automate actions between different web apps, such as LearningSuite. Creating so-called "Zaps" between apps automates many manual tasks. This can save you or your employees a significant amount of time.

Examples that can be implemented with Zapier in LearningSuite:

  • Automatically create new Members from a list such as Google Sheets, saving you the step of manually creating Users in LearningSuite.

  • Connect other tools such as Copecart via webhook using Zapier and sell your LearningSuite Courses in your own online shop.

  • Connect forms from your website and automatically give Users who complete the form access to information products in LearningSuite.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Go to your LearningSuite instance and open the Settings --> Integrations tab. The Zapier Integration is displayed first:

Simply click the button on the right: "Generate API key". This creates a key specifically for your LearningSuite instance, which Zapier can then use to connect.

Step 2: Copy the API key and open Zapier using the following link: https://zapier.com/. If you do not have an account yet, please create one now.

Step 3: Go to the Zapier Dashboard at https://zapier.com/app/dashboard. You should see the following:

Here, you have a very simple way to connect an app with LearningSuite. In this example, I select Google Sheets in the left field as the program I want to connect, and in the right field, I enter "LearningSuite" and select our tool with the following logo:

Step 4: Select the Actions you want to perform. In this example, I simply select that when a new row is created in my Google Sheets document, a new Member should be created automatically in LearningSuite. After entering this, a new card already appears at the bottom of Zapier, describing my settings once again in clear English.

Step 5: Click the "Try it" button and follow the step-by-step guide in Zapier. It explains step by step how you can perform the desired action in Zapier. If you have any questions, you are also welcome to send us a message in the LearningSuite HelpCenter (bottom left).
