What is Copecart?
With Copecart, you can easily sell your LearningSuite Courses.
It allows you to link products you have set up in Copecart with our Bundles and automatically grant your buyers access to Courses.
Add a Copecart connection
First, let's look at how you can connect your LearningSuite with Copecart.
Step 1: Go to LearningSuite and open the Settings --> Integrations --> Copecart Integration tab.
Click the “Generate password” button next to the password field. This creates a secure password that you will then need in Copecart for the connection.
Please also make sure during setup that you copy the generated password from LearningSuite and paste it into Copecart.
IMPORTANT, this password is NOT your LearningSuite password or Copecart account password!
Step 2: If you do not yet have a Copecart account, create one.
Select Settings --> IPN Connections in the bottom left and create a new integration. Select "LearningSuite" as the option there.
Step 3: Add your password and IPN notification URL. Finally, select the integration type; Integration for contract fulfillment.
Don't forget to activate the integration in the top right!
Info: You only need one IPN connection. You can use it to link multiple products.
Link Copecart products
Next, let's look at how you can connect your LearningSuite Bundles with your Copecart products. This will also automatically create your buyers as Members in LearningSuite and automatically give them access to the right Courses.
Step 1: Create a Bundle in LearningSuite and add one or more Courses. You can find out how to set up Bundles here.
Step 2: Open the Settings --> Integrations --> Copecart Integration tab
Here you can see all the settings you need to connect Copecart products with your LearningSuite Bundles.
Step 3: Create a new product. To get started, simply select a product type and fill in the name, price and description.
Step 4: Open your product and copy the Copecart product ID from the product URL.
Step 5: Go back to LearningSuite and create a new product connection.
Step 6: Give this connection a name, enter your Copecart product ID and select the corresponding Bundle. Finally, you can also set when access should be granted to the new buyer.
Step 7: Go back to Copecart, open your product and scroll down to "Interfaces". Activate the LearningSuite connection here.
Test the connection
Step 1: To test the connection, open the preview from the connected product.
Step 2: Fill in all required details there and select "Test" as the payment option.
Step 3: This will now perform a test purchase.
Once you have done this, you can go straight back to LearningSuite.
You will find the buyer among your Members. You should also switch to your Bundles and check whether the person mentioned has been added there as well.
If you do not immediately find the person in the Member list or Bundle, please try refreshing the platform.
