Page Editor (Basics)

Here, you'll learn the basics of our editor.

Written by Toni Hannemann

To access the Page Editor, open a lesson by double-clicking it or click the button on the right of the relevant lesson. You will then be taken directly to the editor.

Page Editor layout

In the center, you can see your first page with various settings options.

Page name and editing time

At the top, you can:

  • Give the page a name

  • Set an estimated editing time

The time estimate helps your Members better assess how much time they should plan for the respective lesson.

By default, a text element has already been added.

Below, you can:

  • Add attachments

  • Open the page settings

Elements within the page

You can identify which element you have added by the icon to the left of the element.

It matches the icon in the respective element tab.

Change the order of elements

You can easily adjust the order:

  • Drag the element up or down using the tab on the left

By right-clicking the tab, you can:

  • Duplicate the element

  • Delete the element

Add content elements

To the left of your page, you will find the available content elements, divided into:

  • Text elements

  • Multimedia elements

  • Interactive content

  • Input fields

You can add elements:

  • By clicking

  • Or by dragging them to the desired location using drag & drop

To the right of the page, you will find:

  • The page overview

  • The styling settings

  • The general page settings

Manage pages

Using the page overview, you can:

  • Change the order of pages using drag & drop

By right-clicking a page, you have the following options:

  • Move: The page can be moved to another lesson or even to another Course.

  • Duplicate: The page is copied.

  • Hide: The page is made invisible to Members.

This is particularly helpful for unfinished content or internal notes.

At the top left, you can see the name of the lesson and, to its right, the time required for this lesson.

Below that, you can see whether your changes have been saved.

Information in the top bar

At the top left, you can see:

  • The name of the lesson

  • The total time required for the lesson

  • The current save status

At the top center, you can switch between Editor and Preview.

In the preview, you can see the page exactly as your Members see it.

At the top right, you can see:

  • Which people are currently editing the lesson (collaborative work is possible)

  • The undo function

  • The quick navigation

  • The button to return to the overview

With quick navigation, you can quickly switch between different lessons.
