Widgets help you to make the course clearer for your members. You can introduce the authors of the course, share important information or display links with images that you can use for advertising, for example.
Widgets can be added in the course overview under "Content" on the right next to the modules.
There are three options. In each, a preview is shown at the top and below are the fields for editing the widget:
1. Author card: Here you can select a person from the platform and write a suitable text for it. The position and description are taken from the person's user profile by default, but can be overwritten. This widget is particularly useful for welcome messages.
2. Info card: Here you can display additional information about your course. For example, you can add a link that redirects your members to another page. This widget is particularly useful for displaying course-related meeting links.
3. Image card with link: Here you can display clickable images or graphics with links for advertising or information. You can use this widget to make the courses look even more attractive.
