You can combine multiple Members into a group. Groups are designed to make your user management easier. For example, you can use groups to clearly organize Customers, departments, or coaching programs.
You can find group management under the “Members” tab in the “Groups” section.
There is one default group: “All Members”. This group automatically contains all Members of your platform. This allows you to grant all Members access to Bundles, Courses, Hubs, or Community Forums at the same time with just a few clicks.
Managing groups
When you create a new group, you initially only need to define the group name. Once the group has been created, click the group to open the group pop-up.
In this pop-up, you can add Members to or remove them from the group.
You can also grant the Members of this group access to Courses, Hubs, Bundles, Community Forums, and Community Badges directly from the group.
A particularly useful feature is the “Edit Members” button. When you click it, you are automatically taken back to the Members tab, with a filter for the selected group already active. This allows you to quickly view all Members in this group and analyze or edit them specifically.
Difference between groups and Bundles
Bundles can be thought of as product packages. They are primarily used to grant structured access to content or to sell it.
Bundles offer these features, which groups do not support:
Control over how long Members have access to content
Custom design of expired access (e.g., displaying an upsell Hub after access expires)
Granular control of Course visibility (e.g., “Locked” or “Coming soon”)
Important: If you want to sell Courses through integrations such as Digistore24 or CopeCart, you should always use Bundles for this.
Groups, on the other hand, are primarily intended to logically organize and group Members.
For example, you can also assign multiple groups to a Bundle.
The combination of groups and Bundles gives you maximum flexibility when managing Members and granting them access.
