In the Task Center, you can find all submissions from your Members. There, you can view and evaluate submitted responses and give your Members feedback.
Submissions are created when you use a text, file, video, or audio submission element within a Lesson. Your Members can use it to submit their responses.
You can then find all submissions in one place under Task Center → Submissions.
Find submissions
In the overview, you can see the Member, the task title, the associated Course, and how long the submission has been waiting to be evaluated.
Use the “Only unprocessed submissions” toggle to hide submissions that have already been completed.
Use Search and Filters to further narrow down the displayed submissions. You can also save frequently used filters as templates.
The evaluation view
After opening a submission, you will see the associated Course, Module, and Lesson at the top. Use the icon on the right to jump directly to the corresponding Lesson.
On the left, you will find the task description and the Member's response below it. This is also where you can find the comment section, which you can use to provide feedback.
On the right, you can see your current evaluation status and the submissions that are still open.
Use “Previous” and “Next” to switch directly between individual submissions. This allows you to process multiple submissions in a row without having to return to the overview each time.
Comments and internal notes
Below the submission, you can leave a comment for your Member.
Use the dropdown next to the comment field to choose between “Comment” and “Internal note”.
A comment is visible to the Member and your Team members.
An internal note is visible only to your Team members. For example, you can use it for internal coordination when another Team member should also review the submission.
Send videos, images, audio, and files as feedback
In addition to text, you can also send your Member various attachments as feedback.
You have four options available on the right side of the comment field:
Record video
Add image
Record audio
Attach file
Video response
For a video, you can either create a new recording directly or upload an existing video.
Audio response
For an audio recording, you can record your feedback directly in the comment field.
Image and file response
For images and files, your device's file picker opens directly. You can also select multiple files at the same time.
Edit or delete comments
You can edit or delete comments that have already been sent.
To do this, hover over your comment. An pencil icon for editing and a trash icon for deleting will then appear on the right.
Timestamped comments for video submissions
If your Member has submitted a video, you can link your feedback directly to a specific point in the video.
If you enable the “Timestamp” option below the comment field, the video's current position will automatically be saved with your comment.
The Member will then see the corresponding time with your comment and can click to jump directly to that point in the video.
If you want to provide general feedback on the entire video, you can simply disable the timestamp.
Evaluate and complete a submission
How you complete a submission depends on whether an evaluation is required for the respective task.
Submissions with evaluation
If an evaluation is required, you will find the “Evaluate and continue” button below the comment section.
You will then be guided through the evaluation in three steps.
In the first step, you assign an evaluation between 1 and 100 percent.
For guidance, the evaluation is divided into five ranges: “Poor”, “Weak”, “Okay”, “Good”, and “Great”.
If you do not want to assign an evaluation, you can select “Skip evaluation”.
In the second step, you decide whether the Member needs to repeat the task or whether you want to mark it as completed.
This decision is independent of the assigned evaluation. For example, you can assign a good evaluation and still specify that the task must be repeated.
In the third step, you can optionally leave a comment and explain your evaluation in more detail.
Use “Evaluate and continue” to save your evaluation and go directly to the next open submission.
Submissions without evaluation
If no evaluation is required for a task, you can complete the submission directly.
Use “Mark as viewed” to complete the submission. It will then no longer appear in your list of unprocessed submissions.
Use “Task must be repeated” to send the task back to the Member. The Member can then submit a new submission.
Notifications for new comments
When you send a new comment on a submission, the Member is notified by email.
This also applies to comments that contain only an attachment and no additional text.
Process submissions on your smartphone
The comment section also works on smartphones.
You can also write comments and add attachments there. You can record audio feedback directly on your smartphone as well.
What does your Member see?
Your comments are displayed to the Member directly with their own submission.
Videos can be played directly in the comment. Audio is displayed in an audio player, images can be opened in an enlarged view, and files can be downloaded.
Your Member can reply to your comments. However, Members can only use text. Adding attachments to comments is available only to Team members.
In the Course view, your Member can also find an overview of their own submissions under “Submissions”.
There, the Member can see, among other things, the evaluation, the last interaction, and the responsible trainer.
