You can lock further course progress for your members until a submission has been reviewed by a team member.
To do this, you first need to place a submission element in your lesson.
When you select the submission element, you will find the “Lock Course Progress” option in the sidebar on the right.
If you enable this option, members can only continue with the next course content after their submission has been reviewed.
For this feature to work correctly, the “Work Through Step by Step” option must be enabled for both the section and the module containing the lesson with the submission.
You do not need to configure these settings manually. As soon as you enable the “Lock Course Progress” toggle, a pop-up will appear.
Click “Enable Both Options”. LearningSuite will then automatically enable the required settings for the section and the module.
Important: For the changes to take effect for your members, you must then publish the course.
As soon as a member reaches the relevant lesson and submits a submission, they can only continue with the course once the submission has been reviewed by a team member. Members will see a pop-up explaining that they need to wait for the review.
