What are AI Agents suitable for?
AI Agents help you automate recurring interactions with users while improving the quality of responses.
They are particularly suitable for:
supporting users with questions
making processes more efficient
collecting structured input
making your existing knowledge scalable
Create an AI Agent
When you open the AI Agents section, you can create a new AI Agent directly.
You have two options:
Internal chatbot
The internal chatbot accesses platform-internal content and knowledge.
This makes it particularly suitable for supporting Members with questions and providing context-specific responses.
External chatbot (n8n)
Alternatively, you can integrate an external chatbot via n8n. It has similar configuration options to the internal chatbot, but has no access to platform-internal knowledge.
Structure of the chatbot editor
The chatbot editor is divided into two areas:
On the left, you can make all settings for the chatbot.
On the right, you can see a live preview of your chatbot.
This allows you to test changes directly and review the behavior and design in real time.
Areas in the editor
The settings are divided into three main areas: Design, Prompt, and Knowledge.
1. Design
In the Design section, you define the appearance of your chatbot.
Here, you can define the name and description, among other things, and customize the visual design, such as colors or the background.
2. Prompt
In the “Prompt” section, you define the behavior and interaction of your chatbot.
This section is divided into two parts:
Personality settings
Here, you define the basic behavior of the chatbot. You decide whether the chatbot should act as a Coaching Bot or Form Assistant.
The differences between these two variants are explained in detail in a separate article.
Conversation settings
Here, you determine how the interaction with the chatbot works and how a conversation is started.
There are three options:
Selection questions
The User selects from predefined options to start the conversation or enters their own question.Opening message
The chatbot actively starts the conversation with an initial message defined by you.Start button
A button is displayed first. After clicking it, the AI Agent immediately starts with a message.
These settings influence how users begin interacting with the chatbot.
3. Knowledge
In the “Knowledge” section, you define the basis on which your chatbot generates responses.
This section differs depending on the chatbot type. The following settings apply to the internal chatbot.
The section is divided into three subcategories:
AI Knowledge & Responses
Here, you define which AI Model is used and what the chatbot's responses should be based on.
You can choose whether the chatbot accesses only your content and Platform Knowledge or also uses the AI's general knowledge.
Using general AI knowledge in addition can be helpful for providing broader responses. At the same time, responses may be less precise or not fully suitable as a result.
Course Content
Here, you define which content within the platform the chatbot can access.
Which option makes sense depends on the specific use case. For example, a Coaching Bot that answers questions about a particular Lesson should only have access to that exact content so that the responses are as precise as possible.
Additional content
Here, you can add further knowledge that does not come directly from the Course Content. This includes documents and Member Properties.
Member Properties allow the chatbot to take existing information about users into account. For example, the chatbot can respond more individually to a person if certain information is already known.
External chatbot (n8n)
For the external chatbot, the Knowledge section is called N8N Settings and is structured differently. It consists of two parts:
N8N Settings: Here, you configure the connection to the external chatbot (e.g., via URL and login credentials).
Additional content: Here, you can add Member Properties that the chatbot is allowed to access.
Important:
The external chatbot has no access to Platform Knowledge or Course Content.
The only platform-internal data that can be used are the selected Member Properties.
How exactly an N8N chatbot can be integrated is explained in the article: Explanation of the N8N Chatbot.
Publication & use
As soon as your AI Agent is fully configured, you can publish it and use it in the platform, for example in Lessons or Hubs.
How exactly the integration works is explained in detail in a separate article.
Chatbot overview & Chat Insights
In addition to creating and configuring your AI Agents, LearningSuite also provides an overview and analysis of the chats conducted.
Chatbot overview
The Chatbot overview shows you all created AI Agents in a table.
Here, you can see at a glance:
Activity – when the Agent was last used
Usage – where the Agent is integrated
Uses – how many chats have already been conducted
Status – whether the Agent is active or still in draft
Using the action icons on the right, you can:
edit the Agent
go directly to the chats
access further options
By clicking the message icon and the Chats chip, you can access the individual conversations of the respective chatbot.
Chat detail view
In the Chat detail view, you can track in detail how users interact with your chatbot.
The view is divided into two sections:
Left: List of all chats
Right: The currently selected chat history
You also receive important information such as:
User (visible at the top of the chat)
Time of the conversation
Number of messages / AI Responses
Credits used (e.g., AI tickets)
This view particularly helps you:
identify frequent questions or issues
improve content
optimize your AI Agent in a targeted way
These two areas give you the necessary transparency not only to create your AI Agents, but also to improve them continuously.
