General explanation:
LS Intelligence includes various AI-powered features within the platform that can create intelligent answers to questions based on your Course content. These include both the AI Concierge and the AI Agents.
The AI Concierge serves as a global assistant for general questions and navigation within the platform. AI Agents, on the other hand, are specifically designed for particular use cases.
AI Agents are intelligent, dialogue-based assistants that support Users within the platform. Unlike static content, they respond dynamically to input, ask follow-up questions, and help users better understand, structure, or develop information.
Depending on the area of use, AI Agents can take on different tasks:
Guide Users through processes
Help formulate answers
Collect structured information
All components of LS Intelligence pursue the same goal: supporting Users in a context-specific way and making interactions more efficient and intuitive.
What types of AI Agents are available?
There are two basic types of AI Agents in the platform, which differ in how they are used:
1. AI Concierge (global AI Agent)
The AI Concierge is a central assistant within the platform that is available at all times. It serves as the first point of contact for Users and provides support with general questions, content, and navigation.
The AI Concierge is not tied to a specific process, but can be used flexibly across different contexts.
2. Chatbots (process-based AI Agents)
Chatbots are configured specifically for certain use cases and integrated into specific workflows. Unlike the AI Concierge, they are designed for a specific task or interaction.
There are two types of chatbots:
Coaching Bot → Supports open, dialogue-based interactions
Form Assistant → Guides Users through structured input
You can find further details about the individual chatbot types in the respective articles.
How to manage AI Agents
All AI Agents can be managed centrally via the sidebar in the “AI Features” section. There, you can configure, activate, and adapt the different agents to your use cases.
Requirements for use
Before using an AI Agent for the first time, a one-time notice will appear to activate the required permissions.
To use AI Agents, the following access must be activated:
OpenAI access: Enables the core functionality of the AI Agents, as content is processed via OpenAI. No answers can be generated without this activation.
Vertex AI access: Supports the quality and stability of results through additional infrastructure. This ensures more reliable processing and better performance.
Both options are necessary to ensure optimal functionality and User experience for AI Agents.
If you want to deactivate the AI features later, you can do so under Settings → AI Features & Transcripts → Deactivate LS Intelligence.
View a User's AI activities
You can centrally view all AI interactions of a specific User. This helps you better understand behavior and make targeted optimizations.
Accessing the User view
You can open the Member Pop-up from various locations:
by clicking a User's name in the Member overview
directly from a chat via the User button in the detail view
“AI Agents” tab
You will find the “AI Agents” tab in the Member Pop-up.
There, you can see an overview of all conversations this User has had—with both AI Agents and the AI Concierge.
What information is displayed?
Within the tab, you can:
open individual chats directly and switch to the detail view
edit the relevant chatbot or Concierge via the three-dot menu
This gives you a quick overview of all of a User's AI activities.
Why is this helpful?
This view allows you to:
understand how Users interact with your AI Features
analyze specific conversations
identify optimization potential
This allows you to further develop your AI Agents and the AI Concierge in a targeted way.
