You can use Member Properties to customize your Lessons and Hubs for your Members.
Before you can use them, you must create them under Properties → Property Configuration. You can find more information here: Link
Using Member Properties in Lessons
Text
You can use Member Properties in all text elements by entering a #.
You can then:
use the Pop-up to select the desired property
or continue typing after the # to search for the property and confirm it with Enter
The property is automatically replaced with the value stored for the respective Member.
Example:
The company “Muster AG” is stored for the User Max Mustermann.
#FirstName becomes “Max”
#Company becomes “Muster AG”
These text elements include:
Heading
Text
Information
Bulleted and numbered lists
Link
Text in checklists
Media Elements
You can also use Member Properties in media elements.
These include:
Image
Image gallery
Video
Audio
File gallery
In all media elements, you can use the Member Properties button to select suitable properties that correspond to the respective data type.
After you have selected a property, you can also define a placeholder. This is displayed if no value is stored for this property for the Member.
This ensures that suitable content is always displayed.

For buttons and links, you can use the Properties button to insert Member Properties.
Checklist
In checklists, you can link individual elements to properties of the Yes/No type. When a Member checks off an element, the linked Member Property is automatically set as well.
Hubs
You can also use Member Properties to customize your Hubs for each User.
Text Fields
You can use Member Properties in all text fields in the editing Pop-ups:
using the Properties button
or by entering #, as in Lessons
Media Widgets
Similar to the Lesson editor, you can also use Member Properties in media widgets to display Personalization.
These widgets include:
Image
Carousel
Video (including thumbnail)
Welcome banner (background & avatar)
Info widget (thumbnail)
You can select the appropriate Member Property in the image or video selection.
Here, you can also define a placeholder that is displayed if no data is stored for the Member.
