Under Properties → Property Configuration, you can define different data types. These determine how data is stored and how your Members can fill it out in forms.

Depending on your use case, the following data types are available:

Text (Text & Rich Text)

  • Text: A simple input field for short text.
Ideal for data such as locations, links or addresses. For single-line and multi-line text fields, you can also set a maximum number of characters.

  • Rich Text: Text with formatting options (e.g. bold, paragraphs, lists).
Especially useful for longer content such as descriptions, logs or analyses, where better readability is important.

Number

For numerical values such as number of employees, number of customers or click-through rate.

In the field type, you can choose whether only whole numbers or also decimal numbers are allowed.

Selection

A dropdown field where you define the answer options yourself.

You can specify whether only one or multiple answers can be selected.

Yes / No

For simple decisions such as “Terms and Conditions confirmed” or “Already a customer”.

You can select the display style in the field type.

In most cases, the Dropdown option is recommended, as it is clearer for Users to understand than a toggle.

You can also use yes/no properties in checklists to obtain confirmations from Members.

Date & Time

For date or time information, such as “Customer since” or opening hours.

Media (Image, File, Audio, Video)

Ideal for collecting or providing media from Members, for example:

  • Logos

  • Welcome videos

  • Voice recordings

  • Reports or documents

You can embed these using the familiar multimedia elements.

You can specify whether multiple media files can be uploaded and the maximum number allowed.

With these data types, you can create suitable forms for every use case, collect data in a targeted way and then reuse it in Lessons or Hubs.
