General explanation:
Member Properties are additional information that you can store for each Member in LearningSuite. This allows you to organize your Members more effectively, address them more specifically, and map internal processes directly in the platform.
Simple example:
You are a fitness coach, and your Customers have different goals. Some want to build muscle, while others want to lose weight.
You can now store this information directly using Member Properties.
This gives you more insight into your Customers' preferences and a clear, organized structure that you can access directly in LearningSuite.
On the other hand, you can provide these properties to a LearningSuite AI Agent so that it can better respond to your Customers' questions.
How to manage Member Properties
Under Properties → Property Configuration, you can create new properties.
Member Properties are structured across three levels:
Data Profiles
At the top level are the data profiles, which you can think of as a section of properties.Categories
Within the data profiles, you can add further categories to structure your data.Properties or fields
Fields can contain different types of data, such as text, numbers, or even images. These fields determine which information you can store for your Members.
Once created, you can find all properties for each Member in the Member Pop-up under the “Properties” tab.
You can fill in the fields manually or collect the data from your Members via forms.
Important: Members only see these properties if you actively use them in Lessons, Pop-ups, or Hubs.
Using properties
You can use Member Properties to tailor content individually to your Members.
For example, in Lessons:
You can dynamically personalize content by inserting properties. To do this, use the # symbol or the properties button in the elements.
You can also use properties in Hubs, for example to create a personal Dashboard for your Members. This allows them to view their progress or access individual content.
To avoid having to enter data manually, you can use forms. You can add them to Lessons, Pop-ups, or Hubs and ask your Members for information in a targeted manner.
Use the form element or widget for this:
Evaluating properties
As soon as your Members have entered data, you can evaluate it.
This works via the “Properties” section in the sidebar or directly in the Member Pop-up.
This gives you valuable insight into your Members' progress and needs, allowing you to continuously improve your offering.
Member Properties offer you many ways to tailor your offering and map your processes efficiently.
