Edit Course Information

V
Written by Valerie Larissa Feichtmair

Within a Course, you can edit all basic Course details in the “Information” tab.

General Course Information

In the first card, you can configure:

  • the Course Image

  • the Title

  • the Short Description.

This information is displayed directly to your Members as soon as they open the respective Course.

Course Description & Course Goals

Below, you have the option to add a more detailed Course Description. This is optional.

As soon as you define a Course Description or Course Goals, an additional section titled “Course Information” will appear in the Course for your Members.

In the Course Goals, you can describe specifically what learning outcomes your Members can expect in the Course.

Define Authors

You can also define the Course Authors. Here, you can select all team Members (admins) in your LearningSuite who contributed to this Course.

Important: Make sure that the respective team Members have added a profile picture so that they are displayed correctly.

Hide Course in the Overview

With the “Hide Course in Overview” option, you can specify that the Course does not appear in the Members’ regular Course overview.

This feature is particularly useful when:

  • the Course should only be accessible via a specific link

  • or via a link in a Hub.

Display Course Progress

You can specify whether the percentage Course progress should be displayed to Members.

When this option is enabled, Members can see their individual progress in the respective Course.

This feature is often used to structure Courses according to the requirements of the German Distance Learning Act.

Please note that we do not provide legal advice and can only offer limited support with specific questions about the German Distance Learning Act.

Notification When a Module Is Released

Under “Notification When a Module Is Released”, you can set whether Members should be automatically notified by email as soon as new modules within the Course are published.

This way, your Members know immediately when new content is available.

You can edit and customize the corresponding email individually under Settings → Email.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our support team via the HelpCenter in the bottom left corner. We generally respond within 5 minutes on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00.
