In addition to the course version security mechanism, LearningSuite allows you to individually control the visibility of your modules, sections, and lessons.
This lets you define exactly when and how content becomes available to your members.
Set Module Visibility
For modules, the following options are available:
Visible: The module is visible to members—provided that the latest course version has been published.
Important note:
If a module does not contain any content or if all content within the module is set to Hidden, the module will not be displayed.
Additional Options:
After Previous: The module can only be opened once the previous module has been fully completed.
Day Delay: The module is unlocked after a specified number of days after the member receives access to the course.
Example: If you set 7 days, the module will become available 7 days after the member gains course access.
Date Range: Members only have access to the module within a specific time period.
This is useful for events, limited-time offers, or seasonal content.
Coming Soon: Members can see that the module will be available soon, but they cannot open it yet.
Locked: Members cannot access the module directly but can request access.
This feature is especially useful for upsells or additional premium content.
Hidden: The module is completely invisible to members.
Visibility of Sections and Lessons
In addition to module visibility, you can also control the visibility of individual sections and lessons.
The following options are available:
Visible: Members can see and open the content.
Draft: The content is not visible to members.
Coming Soon: Members can see that the content will be available soon, but cannot open it yet.
Quick Action for Entire Sections
You can change the visibility of all lessons within a section with a single click.
This function can be found in the section visibility settings under Quick Actions.
This allows you to unlock, hide, or set multiple lessons to “Coming Soon” at once, without editing each lesson individually.
