Important: There are two ways to connect DigiStore: the general generic IPN connection and the direct app in DigiStore. We explain both options here.

Generate a password in LearningSuite
In LearningSuite, navigate to "Settings" -> "Integrations & Custom Code"
Select DigiStore and generate an IPN password
Copy the IPN notification URL and password
IMPORTANT: Products must be created in both DigiStore and LearningSuite before you can continue configuring DigiStore.
Configure DigiStore
Log in to DigiStore
Go to Settings > Connections (IPN)
Create a new generic IPN connection (Generic)
Define or select the name and valid products
Insert the IPN URL and password from LearningSuite
IPN notification URL under "IPN URL"
IPN password -> the password from LearningSuite
Optional: Enter an email address for error notifications (this is where automatic error messages for failed processes are sent)
Create a product connection
Check products in DigiStore (whether they have already been created; if not -> create them.)
In LearningSuite, navigate to your Settings -> "DigiStore24 Integration"
Go to Product Connections > Create new product connection
Define a name
Enter the product ID from DigiStore manually
Select a bundle
Finally, click "Create".
You will now see the created product in the overview.
Test the integration
Perform a test purchase in DigiStore
Under Account > Products > Actions > Perform test purchase
View IPN requests
Under Reports > Connections (IPN) in DigiStore
Check test purchases
Under Reports > Transactions in DigiStore
Check LearningSuite behavior
If payment is successful: a Member is created and assigned to the bundle
If payment fails: access is blocked
Set up the integration (LearningSuite app in DigiStore, option B)
The same requirements apply as for option A.
You must have created bundles in LearningSuite and products in DigiStore before you can use the integration.
In DigiStore, open "Configure integrations (IPN)"
Navigate to "Membership pages -> LearningSuite"
On this page, scroll down to "LearningSuite API Key"
You can obtain this API key in LearningSuite itself, under "Settings -> Integrations & Custom Code -> Custom Integration -> Edit -> Copy API Key". Never share this key with third parties! Now enter this API key in DigiStore and refresh the page -> "Save". You must do this BEFORE configuring the rest.
You can now configure the remaining integration details on the page. You can define the name of the connection, which products the connection should apply to, and so on.
Under "Select bundles", select the bundle or bundles that should work for this integration (your product or products for sale)Then click "Save" and "Test connection".
You can now perform a test purchase using a fictitious email address. Please do not use an existing email address, as a User cannot be created twice.
