Partners: External Partner Access

Learn how to grant a partner access and what permissions you and your team have in the respective partner instance.

Written by Toni Hannemann

To grant access, you need to obtain the Partner ID of the respective partner. If they do not yet have a Partner ID, they must first apply for the official LearningSuite Partner Program.

Once you have your partner's Partner ID, you can use it to grant external organizations Partner Access to your organization (and therefore your platforms).

Enter the Partner ID under: Settings -> Grant Partner Access -> Add Partner Organization -> Enter Partner ID.

In the next step, you can review the partner organization and select the individual instances your partner should have access to.

This grants the organization admin rights for the respective instances.

Finally, confirm the addition.

The partner organization is then added, and you can modify the access later.

Access from a Partner's Perspective

Partners who have received access to instances can manage them under Settings -> Partner Management -> External Partner Access.

Here, you can also edit the role of the respective team member in the partner's instance. You can assign a maximum of the admin role unless you are the owner of both instances.

The partner instances also appear in the overview when you select your organization and view the partner instances you have access to under "External Partner Access through LS Demo Instances".
